While Patty had to abandon her initial dream of working with children, she still showered nieces, nephews, and neighbor children with attention and love.Despite her numerous physical and mental challenges, Patty learned to drive again and worked part-time for the State of Missouri for 20 years, retiring in 2014.Patty enjoyed watching movies and her favorite TV series, listening to music (particularly the Blues), shopping and socializing.
